Walls Motel Long Beach

Exceptionally comfortable beds and climate control, multi-channel TV and a refrigerator. Large bathroom with a tub; nice staff.

The location was favourable for traveling around Long Beach, just next door to LA Intl airport, long beach, and downtown. There were central heating, flat screen TV with cable channels and a fridge in the room, really enjoyed that.

It was relatively cheap.

I was there three nights and they did not once clean my room or change towels.

The motel owner was the one who helped us and he was fantastic. He was always quick to address our needs and questions, hook us up with a great cab driver, tell us how to use public transit, etc. He was concerned with how well we liked the room and wanted to know if it was clean enough, good enough, etc. The jacuzzi tub was old but so awesome! Recommended for those on a budget. Free WiFi!!

The mattress was too firm. Far from downtown. Surrounding area seems cheesy and cheap but motel was very clean and management was excellent.

Did not know at the time room was booked, but the motel was in the middle of the places I visited. The location was great, the room was roomy clean and noise free.

The room was clean, but on the smallish side, but the spa tub/bathroom area made up for it. There is no phone in the room but I stayed there for a quiet weekend retreat, so this was fine with me. The bed was very firm (which I loved). If you are looking for a place without all the bells and whistles with friendly staff at an affordable price, Walls is a great choice.

As I said, nothing here really negative *for me* as it suit my purposes perfectly. However, there is no phone in the room and the beds are very firm. Some people might find these negative but I did not.

New bathroom is awesome! Water and snacks were a pleasant surprised! Good location. Great free wifi. Great value for the price.

This is the second long stay which we have had at this hotel to visit our family nearby. It is close, convenient, and priced affordable for us. We found the daily housekeeping to be quite adequate and enjoyed the 2 waters and a snack which were provided. We will most likely return in October when we visit here again.

I liked the friendliness of the owners and the cleanliness of the hotel service. Everything was perfect during my stay.

Absolutely nothing!

This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. I asked specificly about the area when I called and they lied to me. I asked for a non- smoking room on the reservation and received not only a smoking room but one that recked of alcohol, drugs, and smoke to the point that we could not sleep the whole night. We tried to cancel but they would not let us and we could not find anything else in town because of the weekend. They ended up charging me twice and on and on!!! I would not go back there if they gave it to me for free.

I enjoyed how quiet my stay was and the cleanliness of my room, not to mention the SPA tub...very nice.

Honestly, I don't have anything negative to say about the Walls Motel.

Great hotel for the price paid. The room was clean, and even do we had just 1 small step to make, the owner offered us another room due to the size of our suitcases (to a room without the step). There was internet available, which worked great. You need a code for each laptop! It is near a road, but we did not hear any cars. It is a small complex (just 9 rooms) with friendly owners! And in your room you will find bottles with water and some snack (free).

Walls is a gem of a motel with beautiful clean rooms, nice room amenities and a very helpful and friendly staff. They even brought in a microwave for me when I requested it. Not a luxury motel, nor in the best area. But if you're looking for a clean budget motel room with great jacuzzi facilities in the spa-like tile bathrooms, with easy access to Long Beach off the 710, this is the place.

No complaints. Great value...
